Art, and his wife Lesa, are natives of Ohio and have been married for nearly 35 years. They are blessed with four married children and three grandchildren.
Since 1996, Art has served churches in in Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina as a senior pastor, church planter, executive pastor, and worship pastor. He also served the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio as a Regional Catalyst.
A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Human Resources, he worked in the power and manufacturing industries before going into full-time ministry. Art also holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDIV); and a Doctor of Pastoral Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary (ThD).
Art has served in associational and state convention leadership, as well as being a church planter coach and assessor for the North American Mission Board. He enjoys golf, music, coaching and has spent several years as a high school basketball referee. But his passion is preaching and Gospel coaching.
